The terms you agree to when you book a service, reserve a rental, or buy an accessory at the counter from Phalcon Bikes Pty Ltd. Everything happens in the shop, nothing is charged online, so these terms are short and plain.

Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Phalcon Bikes Pty Ltd, ABN 24 691 055 893, ACN 691 055 893, an Australian proprietary company. We trade as Phalcon Bikes from our workshop at Shop 1, 146 Cleveland Street, Chippendale NSW 2008, open 7 days from 10am to 6pm. You can reach a real person on 0410 937 681 or at info@phalconbikes.com.au. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean Phalcon Bikes Pty Ltd.
What we provide
We are a bike workshop and e-bike rental shop. We service and repair bikes, we diagnose and repair e-bikes, we rent e-bikes on weekly plans, and we bundle rental with maintenance for delivery riders. We also sell a small range of bike accessories over the counter at the workshop. Everything we do is carried out, collected or bought in person at Chippendale. We do not sell anything online and we do not ship, so there is nothing on this site that gets posted to you.
Buying accessories in store
Accessories listed on this site are physical goods you buy at the counter and take away with you. The price shown includes GST and is the price you pay in the shop. There is no cart and no checkout here, so nothing is charged to you online and no payment details are collected by this site. Stock moves through the day, so if you are making a trip for a specific item call 0410 937 681 first and we will hold it behind the counter. Goods sold in store carry the consumer guarantees set out below, and our returns and cancellations page explains how a faulty item is handled.
Quotes and pricing
The prices shown on this site include labour. Parts are quoted separately and we tell you the cost before we use them. You approve the quote before we start work on your bike. If we open the bike and find something we did not expect, we stop and call you rather than adding it to the bill. Prices on this site are current at the time of publishing and can change, and if we find an error in a price we will tell you before you commit to anything.
Bookings and payment
Booking a service or reserving a rental online holds a place for you. It does not take payment. No card is charged at the booking step and no payment details are collected by this site. You pay in the shop, for a service once the work you approved is done, and for a rental when you collect the bike.
E-Bike rentals
Rental pricing is weekly, and each weekly rate depends on a minimum number of weeks, which is shown on the bike before you reserve and again on the reservation page. Optional add-ons are priced per week and shown alongside the bike. A refundable bond is paid in store at pickup: $150, or $200 on 20-week plans, plus $100 if you add the extra battery. When you collect the bike you sign a rental agreement, and that agreement is what governs the rental itself, including the term, the condition the bike must come back in, and how the bond is handled. Read it before you sign and ask us about anything you are unsure of at that point.
Cancellations, changes and refunds
Because we take no payment at the booking step, cancelling a booking or a reservation before you collect costs you nothing and there is nothing for us to refund. You can move or cancel a service booking at no cost by telling us before your appointment. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Services must be provided with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose agreed. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee you are entitled to a remedy, and for a major failure you can choose a refund or compensation for the drop in value. Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies those rights.
Using this website
You may use this site to read about what we do and to book a service or reserve a rental. The text, images, logo and layout on this site belong to us, so please do not copy them for your own commercial use. Our booking and reservation steps are handled by a third party booking system, and links out to other sites are provided for convenience only.
Your privacy
What we collect when you contact us or make a booking, how we use it, and how to ask for it, is set out in our privacy policy. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the date below tells you when it last changed. If a change matters to a booking you have already made, we will tell you rather than rely on you rereading this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
