How much does a bike service cost in Sydney?
At Phalcon Bikes, a General Check (brakes, gears, safety check, full clean) is $174.90. An Electric Check Up for e-bikes is $60.50. Individual repairs, flat tyres from $60.50, brake adjustment from $16.50. Parts are quoted separately before we start.
How long does a bike service take?
A General Check takes approximately 1 hour. An Electric Check Up takes 30 minutes. For flat tyres and minor repairs, 30-60 minutes. We can often do same-day work, call or check availability online.
What is included in a standard bike service?
Standard service includes: brake and gear cable replacement, full drivetrain clean and degrease, brake pad inspection, gear indexing, wheel truing check, tyre pressure check, and a complete safety inspection.
Do I need to book or can I walk in?
Both work. We recommend booking online to lock in your preferred time, but walk-ins are always welcome. We're open 7 days 10am-6pm at 146 Cleveland Street, Chippendale.
Do you service e-bikes?
Yes. We diagnose and repair the electrical side, motor, controller, display and wiring, plus the usual brakes, gears and wheels. See our e-bike repair page for pricing and details.
What bike brands do you service?
We do the mechanical work (brakes, gears, wheels and drivetrain) on most bikes. For e-bikes we work with selected brands: NCM, Flight Risk, Toland, Fat Boy, SmartMotion, Fat Fish, Ampd Bros, Zoomo, and unbranded fat-tyre bikes.
